Ollie McCandlish
Five foot forward Ollie follows in his mum's footsteps playing for the Silverbacks. He had never played basketball before he joined the club in 2015 but through his hard work and determination was excited to be selected by Head Coach Pete Daines to play for the Silverbacks Under 12 team. As well as playing point guard he can be found rebounding offensively and defensively, as well as being effective on the fast break.
Outside of the Silverbacks, Ollie plays at school. Although there is no school team at present, there is plenty of potential and likely to be playing for the school once a team has been established.
Ollie's other interests include watching NBA and Surrey Scorchers, skiing, playing Pokemon  and of course, Minecraft."
